We are four friends, born in Berlin, Germany, who fell in love with the Alto Mijares region.
Nicky and Anika’s holiday in Montanejos 2008 can be called the ignition spark for what followed. In 2009, Mirko and Marie had intended to do a looong trip around Europe but after only three months they found Olba and decided to stay there because it was so nice. They discovered the upper Mijares valley with its beautiful climbing opportunities and other treasures, hidden in the valley. They had always wanted to open a campsite. Thomas, the only one of us who still lives in Berlin, started climbing with Mirko and Nicky in the sandstones of Saxony, when they were children.
In 2016 we bought this beautiful spot near Casa Bolea, with a breath-taking view all around the climbing area. We want to share it with climbers, outdoor enthusiasts, and especially families. It shall be a place to meet like minded-people, enjoy nature, relax, and sleep.
