Respect for breeding birds
At the moment birds breed in our climbing area. We have marked the affected routes. Please do not climb there at the moment.
If you find an inhabited nest in a route, let us know so that we can mark the route.

What about your safety at the foot of the wall? Are you wearing a helmet? Do you make sure your children wear helmets? Do you regularly check if the children are outside the rockfall zone?
Stones can also fall out of frequently climbed routes. Last week this stone fell out of a route in Central Park from a height of about 4m. 1m next to the one belaying – no chance to react. That was luck… We’ve seen children play there.
Protect yourself and your family – be careful and wear a helmet.
Now it is much easier to drive down the last curve to the Refugio. We widened and flattened the curve on both sides. Good ride!

Last week, the week of Easter, it finally happened – the first guests stayed overnight in their buses. The place was packed, the mood was good, the locals want to come back soon. Climbers from further away, like Madrid and the Basque region, will we meet again on the next bridging day?
The locally brewed beer from Olba was very tasty. We will build up stocks. Recommend us, stay with us and enjoy beautiful climbing days in the Alto Mijares!
We look froward to meeting you!
Come and stay with us – in the centre of the climbing area! If you have your own autocaravan or bus to sleep in, then this is now possible. We look forward to meeting you! Read more “Try our sunset!” →
On 2nd April, lots of waste, that had been dumped, was collected in Sector Tubo by volunteers from the “MijaresVivo” and “Escalada Sostenible Alto Mijares” initiatives.
Many Thanks!

You may have noticed: There is a change going on at the house, which is situated predominantly between the rocks of Casucho and La Hoz. Soon, we will provide an area for parking and staying overnight in the climbing area. This will further develop into a camping zone, apartments and a bar.
Please stay tuned… More information is coming…
