[:es]El desarrollo de los sectores alrededor del Refugio Alto Mijares continúa. Como ya se publicó en Algunas vías cercanas por la tarde, queremos abrir nuevas rutas cercanas al refu.

En octubre de 2017, abrimos el Sector Mirador con la ayuda de Simon y Andy. Es el lado izquierdo del macizo que contiuna hasta el [wpcragGuideLink id = ‘587217471’] y el [wpcragGuideLink id = ‘587225973’]. Aquí y también allí, la calidad de la roca es muy buena. Mala suerte, las rutas son cortas y tienen solo 10 o 12 metros, pero lo mejor es, que el acceso es muy corto también.

El sector se encuentra en un hermoso bosque de robles y tiene sombra todo el día. En las reuniones de las rutas puedes disfrutar la vista y aprender por qué este sector recibió su nombre. El acceso corto y el terreno llano hacen del sector un lugar comodo para las familias. Aunque faltan rutas muy fáciles. Si no quieres aparcar en el Refugio Alto Mijares, puedes aparcar en la carretera principal a Olba en la parte de arriba del sector y descender en pocos minutos hasta el sector a pie.

[:en]The development of the sectors around the Refugio continues. As already posted in Just a few quick climbs in the evening we wanted to open new routes nearby.

In October 2017, we opened the [wpcragGuideLink id = ‘1237396659’] with the help of Simon and Andy. It represents the left end of the massif, which later merges into the [wpcragGuideLink id = ‘587217471’] and [wpcragGuideLink id = ‘587225973’]. Here as well as there, the rock quality is very good, but unfortunately the routes are a bit short with only 10 to 12 meters – but also the approach is short.

The sector lies in a beautiful oak forest and provides shade all day long. Resting at the anchors, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the oak trees into the valley and learn why this sector got its name. The short approach and the flat area at the bottom of the face make it a quite family friendly place, even if easy routes are missing. If you do not want to drive down to the Refugio you can alternatively park directly above the cliff on the main road to Olba and descend in a few minutes to the sector.

[:de]Die Erschliessung der Sektoren um das Refugio herum geht weiter. Wie schon im Beitrag Noch schnell ein paar Routen am Abend angekündigt, wollten wir das Routenpotential in unmittelbarer Nähe erweitern.

Im Oktober haben wir mit Hilfe von Simon und Andy den [wpcragGuideLink id=’1237396659′] erschlossen. Er bildet das linke Ende des Massivs, das später in den [wpcragGuideLink id=’587217471′] und [wpcragGuideLink id=’587225973′] übergeht. Wie auch dort ist die Gesteinsqualität sehr gut, nur leider sind die Routen mit 10-12m recht kurz – dafür aber auch der Zustieg.

Der Sektor liegt in einem schönen Eichenwald und bietet den ganzen Tag Schatten. Am Umlenker kann man über die Eichen hinweg die schöne und namensgebe Aussicht geniessen. Der kurze Zustieg und der ebene Wandfuss machen den Sektor familienfreundlich, auch wenn die ganz leichten Routen fehlen. Wer nicht bis zum Refugio Alto Mijares fahren will, kann auch oberhalb des Sektors an der Hauptstrasse nach Olba parken und in weniger als 3 Minuten zum Sektor absteigen.
